As the Vice President of Facilities Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, operational efficiency, and overall management of the organization's facilities and infrastructure. Your role will involve ensuring maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance while aligning facility operations with corporate goals. You will be required to develop and implement policies, manage budgets, and lead a team of professionals to optimize workplace productivity and sustainability.Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing long-term strategies for facilities management, including capital planning, space utilization, and sustainability initiatives. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities to ensure they are well-maintained, safe, and functional. Managing the facilities budget, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and vendor contracts, will also be a crucial aspect of your role.In addition, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising a team of facilities professionals, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities. Negotiating and managing contracts with external vendors for facility-related services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness, will be part of your responsibilities.Ensuring that all facilities operations comply with relevant safety, environmental, and building codes and regulations, as well as overseeing facility-related projects such as renovations, expansions, and new construction, will be essential in this role. You will need to identify and mitigate potential risks related to facilities operations, develop and implement emergency response plans, and implement sustainability initiatives to improve environmental sustainability.To excel in this position, you should possess strong leadership and management skills, strategic thinking abilities, financial acumen, technical expertise in building systems and safety regulations, excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, experience in project management, regulatory compliance knowledge, vendor management experience, and a good understanding of sustainable building practices and energy efficiency.This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, internet reimbursement, life insurance, and Provident Fund.
