Vice President, Business Management – Strategic Initiatives- Global Fintech Firm (Singapore)

Polymath Search is partnering with a global fintech firm and they are looking for a visionary Vice President to be part of their Strategic Initiatives & Analytics function and drive the next wave of growth for their Asia business. As a core member of the APAC Business Management & Operations team, you’ll orchestrate mission-critical strategies, optimize performance, and scale capabilities across diverse markets. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-impact team at the heart of our regional expansion efforts.

Requirements of the role:

• Involve in strategic planning, business planning for all of Asia’s business
• Architect and implement performance metrics (KPIs) that fuel operational excellence
• Lead strategic initiatives—from market entry and client segmentation to M&A scouting and product delivery
• Design advanced reporting and analytics frameworks that empower data-driven decision-making
• Forecast growth trajectories and optimize processes for scale across APAC
• Mobilize cross-functional stakeholders around transformative goals
• Monitor and decode industry trends in Asset & Wealth Management, especially in Private Markets
• Draft influential research papers, presentations, and speaking notes for senior leadership engagements
• Present and create collateral for top executives within the business

Responsibilities of the role:

• A strong academic foundation in Finance or related fields
• 8+ years of relevant working experience in consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy or business management role; 1 - 2 years of operating experience at hypergrowth start-up preferred
• You should be highly motivated and a self-starter and comfortable with challenging the status quo with the ability to think outside of the box to solve problem
• Strong understanding of finance and ability to roll up your sleeves on analytical work
• Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions including the ability to structure problems for analysis and synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner
• Deep understanding and experience within Asset- and Wealth Management industries, ideally with exposure to Private Markets
• Experience with Salesforce also a plus
