Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced analytics professional to develop, implement and monitor Basel credit risk models and scorecards for Singapore and regional markets. You will drive validation, collaborate with regional teams, and deliver insights to senior management while ensuring Basel II/IV and FRS9 compliance.

Strong communication skills and a track record in banking risk analytics are essential; a relevant degree is required.

Qualifications

8+ years in credit risk model development/validation in banking.
Clear communication of model performance to varied audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Cross-functional teamwork and strong written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Basel credit risk models and scorecards across regional markets.
Collaborate with regional modelers on validation and development; justify results to stakeholders.
Support analytics for Basel models and scorecard usage in portfolios and acquisitions.
Promote use of models in customer acquisition, portfolio management, and collections.
Stay updated on Basel II/IV, FRS9 and regulatory ethics; ensure compliance.
Provide regular/ad-hoc credit risk analyses to senior management and regulators.
Present models to senior management and obtain signoffs; coordinate regulator approvals.
