Job summary

Temasek Polytechnic's Animal Clinic and Wellness (TPACW) seeks a Veterinarian to lead clinical and teaching activities, ensuring AVS compliance and supervising student training. You will coordinate student placements and collaborate with TPACW’s vendor to deliver integrated clinical services and teaching.

Ideal candidates hold an AVS veterinary license with 3+ years in a clinic, and are available for CET night classes.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid AVS veterinary license with at least 3 years of relevant clinic experience.
Relevant degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.
Willingness to work evenings for CET night classes.
Familiarity with Day One Competences for Veterinary Nurses is preferred.
Demonstrates passion for mentoring youths and adult learners.

Responsibilities

Act as veterinary manager to ensure AVS compliance of Temasek Polytechnic’s Animal Clinic and Wellness (TPACW).
Plan and coordinate student clinical training at TPACW and external attachments in consultation with the course team.
Collaborate with TPACW vendor for delivery of clinical services and student training.
Provide clinical veterinary services up to twice a week at TPACW.
Supervise student in-clinic training and assessment; deliver lectures, tutorials and practicals for PET and CET courses.
Contribute to curriculum development with the Veterinary Technology course team and develop teaching/assessment materials.
Offer pastoral care and mentor students in character development and career readiness.
