Job description

  • Position: Veterinarian (Physiotherapy/Hydrotherapy-CCRT/CVA)

  • Location: Near Farrer Park MRT

  • Working hours: Flexible shift working hours (Clinic operating hours : Monday -Wednesday & Friday : 11.00-8.00pm, Thursday: 10.00am-6.00pm, Weekends : 9.00-6.00pm)

  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $14,000 + AWS + Medical + $1500 education allowance + 14 days annual leave

  • Duration: Permanent

  • Industry: Veterinarian clinic

Main Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with pet owners, providing them with expert advice and compassionate guidance on their pets' health and rehabilitation plans.

  • Executing a wide range of therapeutic interventions such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, etc., tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Conducting detailed patient assessments to determine the most effective course of treatment, considering both medical and quality-of-life factors.

  • Collaborating closely with a team of dedicated professionals, sharing knowledge and insights to maximise patient outcomes.

  • Tracking and evaluating patient progress through regular follow-up appointments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.

  • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in animal rehabilitation to continually enhance your practice and deliver the best possible care to your patients.

  • Advocate for a holistic approach to animal health, educating pet owners on preventive care and the benefits of rehabilitation therapy

Requirement:

  • Able to communicate effectively and empathetically with pet owners, understanding their concerns and providing reassurance.

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution. This solid foundation is crucial for the complex and rewarding work we do here.

  • Additional certifications in animal rehabilitation or related fields, such as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) or Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA), would be added advantage

  • 3 – 10 years prior experience in a veterinary clinic, hospital, or similar environment. This will ensure you're ready to handle the diverse range of cases we see at our clinic.
