Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to oversee the end-to-end procurement and inventory management of pharmaceuticals, veterinary consumables, and medical supplies, for our clinic and distribution business lines. This role is critical in ensuring timely availability of quality products while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement process for all drugs, medicines, and veterinary consumables, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting, stock rotation, and demand planning via a vet management software
  • Monitor expiry dates, batch tracking, and cold chain compliance where applicable.
  • Liaise with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain inventory management systems to track stock movement and generate reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, including storage, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Manage emergency stock levels and coordinate replenishment strategies during shortages or outbreaks.
  • Collaborate with finance and veterinary operations teams to align procurement with budgetary goals and operational needs.
  • Assist in general coordination of clinic operations.
  • Work hand in hand with Senior Vets to prepare contracts and invoicing documentation for important government and corporate clients

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Operations, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or in a related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, vet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Past work experiences in veterinary healthcare or pharmaceuticals is preferred
  • Well verse in commonly used drugs, medicines and consumables in the veterinary industry
