Job summary

TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage vessel financial records, monthly reporting, and cost control.

You will coordinate with vessel managers, procurement, crewing, and vendors, support month-end close, and ensure accurate recording of expenses and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in shipping, ship management, or maritime companies.
• Strong knowledge of month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned vessels.
• Prepare monthly vessel accounts and financial reports.
• Process supplier invoices, vessel expenses, and crew-related costs.
• Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations.
• Track vessel operating expenses against approved budgets.

• Assist with audits and ensure accounting procedures and controls are followed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; experience with shipping accounting software is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
