Job summary
East Ventures Advisory PTE. LTD. is seeking an Investment Professional to source, evaluate, and execute startup investments within East Ventures' portfolio.
You will work with the investment team to identify opportunities, perform thorough due diligence, build financial models, and support portfolio growth. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA or related advanced degree is an advantage) and experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or similar
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (open to all fields). MBA/advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in VC/PE/IB/consulting or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with financial modeling & market research.
- Knowledge of Southeast Asian startup landscape & tech sector.
- Excellent communication & presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team.
- Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and early-stage investing.
- High integrity, professional conduct, and proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities through research, networking, and industry analysis.
- Conduct due diligence, including financial modeling, market sizing, and competitive assessment.
- Assist in preparing investment memos and internal presentations.
- Support negotiation and deal structuring processes.
- Track industry trends, startups, and market developments.
- Support portfolio management activities and engagement with portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure smooth investments.
- Represent East Ventures at industry events and networking opportunities.
