Job Description

Hera Capital seeks a full-time Analyst. Successful candidates can be expected to work on the following:

• Support the evaluation and execution of VC transactions in Europe, South-East Asia, and India for Shift4Good fund
• Work with portfolio companies to improve their operational and reporting processes
• Value new and existing companies using financial modelling
• Conduct impact research on potential portfolio companies, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and business plan assistance
• Support reporting to investors on the operational developments of portfolio companies
• Assist with fundraising and exit efforts of existing portfolio companies
• Any other ad hoc work required

Preferred candidates should possess the following:

• Experience with VC or PE firm, management consulting firm, investment bank, or other relevant experience (internships included).
• Maximum 2 years of working experience
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys working in a challenging environment, has perseverance, and is a team-player.
• Interest for the sustainable development ecosystem as well as technology environment.
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting and valuation concepts. Knowledge and understanding of capitalisation tables, pre-money and post-money valuations is valuable.
• Strong academic background with a reputable educational institution and possess a strong understanding of finance and accounting.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with a desire to learn & succeed.
• High competence with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and market intelligence tools such as Capital IQ and Pitchbook. Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of any Asian languages is a plus.
