Job summary

Tower Transit Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced workshop engineer to lead diagnostics and the training of engineering staff and apprentices. You will inspect vehicles, diagnose faults, and specify repairs while improving procedures across the depot network.

The role involves organizing training, coaching engineers, and supporting management with technical investigations and best practices. Based in Singapore, it requires flexibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Mechatronics or related Diploma.
• Experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Willingness to travel within Singapore.
• ACTA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles in accordance with Tower Transit SOPs and diagnose faults.
• Specify repair methods and parts; record time required for each defect.
• Organise and manage training courses for engineering staff and apprentices.
• Deliver technical training to engineers and coach technicians.
• Attend meetings and contribute to policy and procedure improvements.
