Job summary

PwC invites undergraduates to join the Value Creation team as an off-cycle Intern in Singapore. You will work on strategy and value creation engagements, including live sell-side M&A mandates, and gain exposure to market assessment, growth opportunities, and investor materials.

You will conduct research, analyze data, and help develop growth strategies across markets, segments, and services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Business or Accountancy.
• Strong academic track record (minimum Second Class Upper Honours or equivalent) with meaningful co-curricular involvement.
• Genuine passion for building a career in strategy consulting.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretive skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to thrive in a multicultural team while also working independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• As an off-cycle Intern, you will work alongside experienced team members on strategy and value creation engagements, including supporting live sell-side M&A mandates, gaining first-hand exposure to how businesses assess their markets, identify growth opportunities, develop strategies, and articulate their value creation potential to investors.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to assess market attractiveness, competitive positioning, key trends, and potential opportunities and risks.
• Analyse company and market data to identify potential growth opportunities and develop strategic initiatives across areas such as market expansion, customer segments, products and services, and other value creation levers.
• Support the development of growth strategies and value creation plans for clients, including businesses undertaking sell-side M&A transactions, working alongside the Corporate Finance team and senior engagement leaders.
• Contribute to strategic analysis, commercial due diligence, and the development of client and investor materials that clearly articulate a company's market positioning, growth potential, and value creation opportunities.
• Collaborate with a high-performing, multidisciplinary team to develop practical, insight-led recommendations that help clients strengthen their strategic positioning and create sustainable business value.
