Job summary

The client is a world leading semiconductor company from USA and has an urgent opening for a 12-month renewable contract in Bendemeer, Singapore. Regular office hours apply.

Responsibilities include functional testing of SSDs (auto & manual), failure analysis with Validation, test-script modification, firmware debugging, lab setup, and test reporting for ongoing health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Basic working knowledge with Windows and Linux.
• Experience with setup or debug of laptop/desktop/server systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Linux/Python scripting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on SSD through automated and manual tests.
• Perform initial failure analysis with Validation engineers to resolve test failures.
• Modify test scripts to improve coverage.
• Debug and evaluate issues with Firmware engineers.
• Assist in setting up test environment and servers for validation.
• Tabulate test results and generate reports for firmware health monitoring.
