Job description

Meet the Team

Silicon Labs is seeking experienced validation engineer for a new IoT MCU Validation team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic detail-oriented system level engineer with a solid understanding of low power MCU architectures in terms of both digital and analog aspects. The position also requires software proficiency at Python scripting and firmware levels, experience in board level hardware design and familiarity with test instrumentation, measurement techniques and tests automation.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Strong analog and digital circuit analysis skills
  • Post-silicon validation experience
  • Hands on experience in electrical characterization of mixed signal IPs/MCU Peripherals, is a must
  • Strong software development and architecture skills (Python, C# or similar)
  • Firmware development skills (C and/or assembly language)
  • Working knowledge of ARM/8051 architectures and typical MCU peripherals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debug skills
  • Hands-on experience in version control software framework like Git.
  • Self-driven with a strong work ethic and sense of accountability

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with schematics capture and layout tools (Allegro/Altium/PADS)
  • Exposure to security standards and security testing
