MAIN PURPOSE

As part of the SEAO (Southeast Asia & Oceania) Cartier's Business Development Team in the role of V.I.E - Business Analyst & Insights Coordinator, you will support all aspects of business performance to ensure the implementation of commercial strategies contribute to the development of the SEAO region. As a key member of the Regional Commercial Performance team, you will drive data integrity, deliver meaningful insights, and help shape action plans that optimize sales and productivity. You will serve as a regional point of contact for performance analytics, collaborating closely with local markets and HQ to build tools and challenge assumptions with strategic thinking and diplomacy.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting
    • Serve as the go-to-person for business performance insights across the region, liaising with both market and HQ teams.
    • Build, update, and present comprehensive sales and business performance reports.
    • Develop and roll out performance tools and reporting programs in partnership with office and boutique teams.
    • Collaborate across functions to establish robust processes and tracking mechanisms covering commercial, client, product and productivity dimensions.
    • Act as the regional data champion, owning Looker and SAP reporting and ensuring consistent data quality and reliability.
    • Partner with market data champions and commercial leads to define ambitions, align on action plans and drive business results.
    • Provide strategic insights by challenging assumptions and identify key drivers to improve traffic and productivity.
    • Support preparation of periodical business reviews, delivering actionable insights aligned with performance goals.
    • Develop ad-hoc analysis to address evolving business needs and support decision making.
  • Ad-Hoc Business Projects
    • Support the planning and execution of regional strategic projects under the scope of business performance, including contributions to the annual strategic plan, retail excellence taskforces, action plan to improve boutique productivity, etc.
    • Coordinate project planning, progress monitoring, stakeholder updates and communication with respective stakeholders.
    • Facilitate cross functional alignment and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Education:University or Business school graduate
  • Professional Experiences:At least 2 years of professional experience within a similar role, ideally in the high-end of luxury retail industry.
  • Competencies:
    - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal; other Asian language and international culture would be a plus to effectively liaise with local markets in SEAO.
    - Strong analytical skills with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
    - Organized, pragmatic, proactive and able to manage independently new projects as well as lead cross-markets/cross-functional teams.
    - Demonstrate positive attitude and willingness to learn.
    - Detail-oriented and have a passion for thoroughness and accuracy.
    - Solid knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAP, Looker and Anaplan a plus.

Subsequently, you will be meeting with the HR team to dive deeper and assess your fit to this role

Finally, you will be able to meet with the local Hiring Team (Local HR and Hiring Manager) and will go through a Case Study to assess further your analytical skills.
