What are we looking for

We are seeking a passionate, curious, and self-driven quantitative expert with extensive eCommerce experience. The ideal candidate understands how Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) drives revenue and has a deep knowledge of Google Analytics and the Shopify ecosystem to analyze user experience data effectively. You should be a team player capable of working cross-functionally with UX designers and developers to tag events, track user flows, and evaluate site performance based on key performance indicators.

The candidate must have a genuine passion for user behavior, understand heuristics and best practices for UX optimization, and be proficient in analyzing data, extracting insights, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Additionally, the ability to craft compelling narratives around data for reports and stakeholder presentations is essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to understand user interactions, including navigation from page to page, utilizing Google Analytics and Shopify expertise.
  • Perform journey mapping and funnel analysis to improve user flow and reduce high abandonment or bounce rates.
  • Draw qualitative insights from quantitative data regarding user experience.
  • Work with developers to tag interactive site elements for accurate data collection.
  • Maintain a high-velocity A/B testing program, formulating hypotheses aligned with business goals, and measuring the impact of tests to improve website performance.
  • Translate key findings into insights and communicate recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in eCommerce.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Google Analytics.
  • Ideally 4-7 years of eCommerce experience.
  • Strong understanding of quantitative data analysis, statistics, and data visualization.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Shopify, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Knowledge of best practices in design experimentation and hypothesis testing.
  • Ability to create and present effective reports and leverage analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with user-centered design processes and design thinking strategies.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple clients.
  • Experience creating prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and wireframes for internal and external communication.
  • Experience collaborating with development, design, and project management teams.
  • Experience at a professional services firm, such as a marketing agency or consulting company, is a plus.
