Job summary

Astek Singapore is seeking a UI/UX designer with 1–2 years of experience to design intuitive web and mobile experiences, map user journeys, and create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows.

You will work with product managers, business teams, and engineers to translate needs into user‑centric solutions, review usability, and brainstorm chatbot flows. Familiarity with prompts, LLMs, or generative AI tools is a plus; strong storytelling and UX writing are valued.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design.
• Strong fundamentals in user-centered design and design thinking.
• Good communication, storytelling, and UX writing skills.
• Curiosity about AI, chatbots, and how users interact with conversational interfaces.
• Basic familiarity with prompts, LLMs, or generative AI tools (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive UI/UX experiences across web and mobile touchpoints.
• Map user journeys, create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows.
• Support the design of simple conversational experiences (chatbot flows, prompts, fallback paths).
• Translate user and business needs into clear, user-centric design solutions.
• Work closely with product managers, business teams, and engineers to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Participate in requirement gathering, design discussions, and usability reviews.
• Analyse user feedback and conversation data to improve interaction quality.
• Contribute to design documentation, standards, and best practices.
