Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all utility-related aspects of road construction projects, including service diversion, relocation, and installation.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, government agencies, and utility service providers.
Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, industry guidelines, and safety regulations for all utility works.
Drive the planning, execution, and completion of utility service modifications while minimizing project disruptions.
Track and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
Prepare and validate technical reports, engineering drawings, and compliance documentation.
Provide technical guidance to on-site teams, ensuring swift resolution of utility-related issues.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols for utility infrastructure works.
Handle regulatory submissions and liaise with authorities for approvals, permits, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction, utility service coordination, and infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, accredited by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board or recognized for Resident Engineer (RE) registration.
Strong technical expertise in utility systems, underground services, and road construction methodologies.
Proven ability to coordinate with government agencies, utility providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Comprehensive knowledge of local construction regulations, safety compliance, and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
