About the Role

AtJJ Innovation Enterprise Pte Ltd, we develop bespoke digital solutions that drive business process improvement, digital transformation, and user experience enhancement for clients across various industries.

We are looking for aUser Experience Development Engineer on a1-year contract to support the design, development, and enhancement of web-based applications, enterprise workflow systems, AI-enabled applications, corporate websites, and other digital solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with project managers, software engineers, and client-facing teams throughout the entire software application development lifecycle—from requirements clarification and prototyping through to implementation, testing, and post-deployment improvements.

Key Role Objectives

• Intuitive Design:Design user-friendly, accessible, and responsive web interfaces aligned with business and user needs.

• Security-First Approach:Translate requirements, workflow diagrams, and user journeys into practical screens, prototypes, and front-end components built with security-by-design principles.

• Front-End Engineering:Build and maintain secure front-end interfaces using modern web and mobile frameworks.

• Optimization:Continuously enhance usability, accessibility, visual consistency, and application performance.

• Collaboration:Partner with backend engineers, project managers, and key stakeholders to deliver robust applications.

• Quality Assurance:Assist with clear technical documentation, front-end testing, and feature refinement pre- and post-deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. UI/UX Design

• Conduct requirements reviews and translate user needs into clear, secure interface flows.

• Prepare wireframes, user journeys, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

• Create and refine UI designs inFigma, maintaining reusable component libraries and design patterns.

• Support usability validation and incorporate feedback into continuous design iterations.

• Maintain design consistency across all pages, modules, and application workflows.

2. Front-End Development

• Develop responsive web pages and application interfaces usingHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, andReact.js(or similar frameworks) adhering toOWASPsecurity best practices.

• Build maintainable, scalable, and reusable front-end components aligned with approved UI/UX specs.

• Integrate front-end interfaces seamlessly with backend services, REST APIs, and data-driven workflows.

• Conduct front-end testing, cross-browser compatibility checks, debugging, and interface optimization.

• Enhance page responsiveness, loading speeds, and overall interaction behavior.

3. Software Delivery & Team Collaboration

• Participate in Agile project ceremonies (sprint reviews, backlog grooming, delivery planning).

• Assist in application enhancements, bug fixes, and feature development prioritized by project urgency.

• Prepare technical notes, UI documentation, screen specs, and user handover materials.

• Support functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-implementation refinements.

• Collaborate with project teams to complete assigned deliverables according to project timelines.

Requirements & Qualifications
