Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.
Responsibilities
Primary duties will include:
- Primary trader and portfolio risk manager in Asia for StoneX’s US Treasury bond franchise
- Manage incoming and outgoing customer flow across a range of Treasury products, including benchmark notes and bonds, off-the-run securities, Treasury Bills, TIPS, and zero-coupon bonds
- Support additional flow in Euro government bonds
- Play a central role in regional product marketing
- Work closely with Sales leads to drive client engagement and increase trading volumes throughout Asia, including onboarding new accounts and strengthening relationships with existing ones
- Help publicize the global franchise through regular market commentary, actionable trade ideas, and product insights shared directly with clients and internally
- Coordinate daily with the New York trading desk to manage inventory and risk across books and time zones; also maintain close contact with London-based counterparts during the overlapping session
- Collaborate with local sales and operations to ensure smooth end-to-end execution and servicing
- Contribute to the broader fixed income and credit trading efforts locally as needed
- Regional travel to visit clients and attend key meetings and events will be required
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
- 2–7 years of experience trading US Treasuries or related USD rates products on the buy or sell side, ideally with regional market familiarity
- Strong understanding of global interest rate markets and monetary policy
- Proven ability to manage risk, engage with clients, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Highly detail-oriented and precise—especially in managing risk, monitoring client interest, and maintaining clean books
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence and clarity needed to interact with institutional clients and global teams
- Works well within a local team but also comfortable reporting to international management and collaborating across time zones
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the energy and ambition to help build and grow a young but fast-developing business
- Ideal for someone ready to take real ownership of outcomes, make their mark, and grow into a larger role over time
- Candidates with local rates experience (SGD, IDR, PHP, etc.) will be considered if the product and market fit is strong
Licenses:
- Must satisfy local regulatory licensing requirements (e.g., MAS and/or SFC)
- FINRA Series 7 required within 60 days of start date
- Preparation for the exam expected outside of normal business hours
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Physical presence alongside the Singapore Fixed Income team is strongly preferred
- Dynamic, time-sensitive trading environment requiring real-time coordination and decision-making
