What you'll be doing
- Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the marine and oil & gas sectors
- Provide expert technical and commercial advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their challenges and delivering tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and implementation plans
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends, products, and services to provide value-added insights to clients
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer in the marine or oil & gas industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the products, services, and applications in the marine and oil & gas sectors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related technologies
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed
