Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR.
  • Prepare GST filings and corporate income tax returns.
  • Generate timely financial reports and assist in annual financial statements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full Set of Accounts

    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets.

    • Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

    • Perform reconciliations of bank, intercompany, and other balance sheet items.

    • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

  • Taxation

    • Prepare and submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings, withholding tax, and corporate income tax returns.

    • Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and relevant government authorities for tax matters.

    • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and monitor changes in tax legislation.

    • Support tax planning and transfer pricing documentation.

  • Financial Reporting

    • Generate timely financial reports and management accounts.

    • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

    • Support audit processes and provide required documentation.

  • Internal Controls & Compliance

    • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls and company policies.

    • Support implementation of process improvements and accounting system upgrades.

  • Other Duties

    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

    • Support ad-hoc finance projects and group reporting requirements.

Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience handling full set of accounts and

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel

  • Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
