Job summary
Wanco Manpower Pte Ltd is recruiting for a Technician / Associate Engineer with a leading global semiconductor manufacturer in the North Region. This permanent role offers 12-hour rotating shifts (3–4 days per week) and exposure to advanced equipment in a cleanroom environment.
You will perform equipment maintenance, support machine conversion and process qualification, collect engineering data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive yield and productivity improvements.
Qualifications
- NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electrical or related fields.
- Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Materials or Chemistry preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support machine conversion, device setup, and production line sustaining.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support evaluations, qualifications, and NPI.
- Assist Process Engineers with recipe setup, process qualification, engineering builds, yield improvement, and productivity enhancement.
- Collect engineering data and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Automation, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Position: Technician / Associate Engineer
Location: North Region
Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shift (3–4 working days per week)

Technician / Associate Engineer
- Perform equipment maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support machine conversion, device setup, and production line sustaining.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support equipment evaluations, qualifications, and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Assist Process Engineers with recipe setup, process qualification, engineering builds, yield improvement, and productivity enhancement.
- Collect engineering data and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Automation, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
- Technician: NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Associate Engineer: Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
- Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing PPE.
