Commercial & Proposal Management
- Manage and convert sales opportunities by preparing accurate and commercially sound quotations within agreed timelines
- Develop detailed proposals covering technical scope, commercial pricing, and commercial terms
- Collaborate with internal technical, legal, and commercial teams to review contractual requirements and manage deviations
- Engage suppliers and partners to obtain cost inputs and prepare cost evaluations
- Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation actions to protect business interests
- Support pricing strategies through analysis of market behaviour and sales performance
- Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations with customers and vendors
Customer, Vendor & Internal Coordination
- Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders by providing updates on proposal status, risks, and commercial strategy
- Establish and sustain effective working relationships with customers and vendors through regular interaction
- Engage customers proactively to understand operational requirements and align solutions accordingly
Project & Service Support
- Work alongside project and service teams to support execution activities where required
- Assist in service-related processes, including internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including export control and trade regulations
- Coordinate with administrative functions to support timely issuance of purchase orders and invoicingFollow up on outstanding commercial matters to reduce overdue receivables
Business & Market Support
- Contribute to discussions on service strategy, operational improvements, and business growth initiatives
- Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned with relevant internal teams
- Support sales and marketing initiatives aimed at promoting service capabilities
- Track competitor activity and industry developments within the energy and power sector
- Perform additional duties aligned with business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial proposals, sales operations, or aftermarket support
- Prior exposure to the energy, power generation, or related industrial sectors is advantageous
- Experience in tender submissions, proposal development, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and deal closure
- Working knowledge of commercial and contractual terms and conditions
- Understanding of project execution, spare parts, service, and maintenance business models
- Familiarity with international trade practices, including INCOTERMS and basic export/import procedures
- Well-developed analytical, planning, and organisational skills
- Awareness of market trends and commercial dynamics within the energy sector
