About the role
In this full-time role, reporting to Regional Business Development Manager, APAC and be responsible for driving new business growth and strengthening customer relationships.

Job description

Market Development

  • Monitor new builds or conversions of floaters in the APAC & global market.

  • Track marginal fields and floater conversion projects in APAC and target projects.

  • Identify newly discovered fields in APAC and assess their potential for mooring solutions.

  • Gather market intelligence on competition landscape.

  • Use business contacts to promote the company and services.

Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct business development efforts with clients across key markets and projects.

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers.

  • Maintain communications for existing & potential clients with consistent communication and service delivery excellence.

  • Ensure all existing clients & accounts under your responsibility are managed to maximize spend across Mooreast service offerings.

  • Manage sales pipeline and lead generation in accordance with Mooreast CRM and ERP systems and support management with sales forecasting.

Tender and Proposal Preparation

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive tenders and proposals tailored to client requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure accurate and competitive submissions.

Revenue Growth & Strategy Execution

  • Generate profitable new business for the company in accordance with group targets

  • Develop and execute Mooreast strategies to achieve revenue targets for the mooring business segment.

  • Prepare and deliver high quality proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Business Development Manager to align on strategies and share market insights.

Industry Networking & Representation

  • Represent & promote Mooreast at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions

  • Build a professional network across the APAC region relevant to your target markets/sectors

Performance Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date records of business development activities, sales pipelines, and client interactions in CRM database.

  • Provide visit reports after business trips and meeting with clients.

  • Provide regular progress reports to the CCO, Regional Business Development Manager, highlighting key wins and areas for improvement

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development, sales, or a related role within offshore oil, gas, and marine industries.

  • Sales & Market Expertise: Proven sales track record with Oil & Gas operators, floating production owners, asset managers, and subsea construction contractors.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with floating production (FPU/FSRU/FPSO), marine & subsea construction, and offshore drilling markets.

  • Regional Expertise: Knowledge of Asia Pacific & Oceanic regions; owner/operator experience is highly desirable.

  • Technical & Business Skills:

    • Tendering & proposal preparation experience.

    • Market research, data analysis, and sales pipeline management skills.

    • Proficiency in CRM systems and ability to create client presentations per branding guidelines.
