Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Manage and oversee financial reporting for the listed company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SGX listing rules and SFRS(I)s.
- Consolidation: Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial reports, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Books and Records: Maintain and manage the books and records for the listed company and some of its subsidiaries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with SGX listing rules and other regulatory requirements.
- Audit Coordination: Work closely with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve overall financial health.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and consolidation.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and managing books and records, preferably in a listed company. Applicants with experience working as an auditor in a CPA firm will also be considered.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SGX listing rules, SFRS(I)s, and other regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Finance Team and various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex financial issues.
