Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Facilities UPW/WWTP Technician in Singapore to oversee, plan, and ensure proper operation and maintenance of Ultra-Pure Water and wastewater systems.

The role offers exposure to advanced tech and practical training in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operation/maintenance oversight, quality control, timely problem resolution, safety adherence, and collaboration on sustainability projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in water or wastewater systems or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and monitoring of UPW and WWTP systems to run within parameters.
• Ensure water and wastewater quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Quickly resolve routine and non-routine problems to restore service.
• Identify and implement system improvements for stability and reliability.
• Enforce safety compliance and follow government regulations.
• Collaborate with system engineers on environmental sustainability projects.
• Coordinate with contractors to implement maintenance programs.
• Perform PM/CM activities per SOP, RA, and PTP requirements.
• Respond to out-of-spec conditions to minimize downtime.
• Support safety and maintain safe working environment.
• Generate maintenance work orders and manage inventory in FMS.
• Adhere to TPM principles to enhance equipment efficiency.
• Understand LOTO devices required for PM/CM.
• Complete PTP and RA for PM/CM work.
• Recognize electrical, fire, and chemical hazards and follow safety procedures.
• Select and wear appropriate PPE for PM/CM activities.
