Job summary

Spencer Ogden Pte. Ltd. is seeking a junior UPW Field Service Engineer for a new water treatment project in Tampines, Singapore. The role requires 1+ year of UPW experience and 2-3 years total experience, with on-site duties and 24/7 on-call support.

The position is a 12-month contract with potential extension or conversion to permanent, offering an annual leave benefit and medical/life insurance. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in a field service or maintenance position for water & process treatment.
• Must be able to communicate in English for written & verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment system.
• Comply with regulatory and site EHS and security requirements.
• Perform first line troubleshooting.
• Top up chemicals and replace consumables.
• Perform instruments calibration and analyzer routine maintenance.
• Collect and review operating data of the water treatment plant.
• Directly report to Site Lead for day-today operation.
• Be available for emergency on-call support outside of standard office hours as required by customer site requests.

Job description

Spencer Ogden is currently seeking a junior UPW Field Service Engineer for a new water treatment project in Tampines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience working in UPW environment and 2-3 years total working experience.

Contract Details

This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to either extend or convert to a permanent position.

• Location: On site, Tampines
• Office Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm.
• On-Call Support: Required to maintain 24/7/365 availability on a call basis to provide coverage and emergency support as necessary.
• Contract Duration: 12 months, option to renew or convert.
• Start Date: As soon as possible, candidates who are immediately available or have a notice period of 4 weeks or less will be prioritised.
• Salary Range: 4,500 - 5,000 SGD per month, subject to candidate experience
• Benefits: Annual completion bonus, 15 days annual leave, Private Medical and Life Insurance provided

Responsibilities

The Field Services provides direction and assistance to work group to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to moderately complex issues, and resolve problems through immediate troubleshooting action or short-term planning, while also planning for long term preventive action.
