A leading company in health and wellness is seeking a candidate to assist in conducting fitness assessments, oversee health coaching, and facilitate engaging wellness workshops. Candidates with a tertiary qualification in Sports & Exercise Science and experience in content development are encouraged to apply. This role provides exposure to working in a government institution with the likelihood of conversion to full-time employment based on performance.
• Assist in conducting fitness and health assessments, exercise testing, and health coaching sessions for diverse populations (e.g., children, working adults, seniors)
• Facilitate workshops and events to promote health and wellness, both in-lab and out-of-lab
• Support content creation for educational materials and resources.
• Support and Implementation of Health and Wellness Programs for diverse populations (e.g., children, working adults, seniors)
• Support special projects like Public Education initiatives,
• Collaborate with ActiveSG and community partners to expand program outreach and engagement.
• Organise individual and group health coaching services for working adults
• Deliver training sessions for instructors to equip them with the skills to effectively conduct programs.
• Monitor vendor quality to ensure services and materials meet program standards.
• Track participants’ progress and assist in reporting outcomes for program evaluation.
• Perform data collection and analysis for program evaluation and reporting.
Requirements:
• Tertiary Qualifications in Sports & Exercise Science
• Has experience in content development for exercise, health and wellness programmes
• Familiar with Operations work in fitness and health/healthcare industry
• Open to potential changing nature of work scope, enthusiastic and willing to learn on the job
• Possess the aptitude and attitude to engage with the general public and serve the citizens
• Adaptable, Self-motivated, takes initiative, willingness to learn
• Possess a keen eye for details
• Willing to take up the challenge to establish norms and best practices for the operations and content development
Working hours: 0800-1730 (Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat) 1130 – 2100 (Wed)
