Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage month-end closing activities, review financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a degree in Accounting, and strong knowledge of IFRS and SAP modules. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for renewal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Able to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end closing activities promptly and accurately.
• Review completeness and accuracy of Fixed Assets, AR, AP, and GL.
• Conduct account reconciliations and review reports.
• Consolidate financial reports for submission to Corporate Office.
• Manage tax reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors during statutory audits.

Skills

Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards

SAP modules experience (Fixed Assets, AP, AR, GL)

Familiarity with Singapore Corporate Tax and GST regulations

Meticulous with strong attention to detail

Good time management skills

• Contract Duration: 6-Month (Renewable with Potential for Conversion)
• Location: Changi Business Park
• Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday)
• Salary: UP $5,6K

Responsibilities:

• Complete month-end closing activities promptly and accurately
• Review completeness and accuracy of Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)
• Conduct account reconciliations and review reports
• Consolidate financial reports for submission to Corporate Office
• Manage tax reporting requirements
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors during statutory audits

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or recognized professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• MUST HAVE: Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• MUST HAVE: Hands-on experience with SAP modules: Fixed Assets, AP, AR, and GL
• Familiarity with Singapore Corporate Tax and GST regulations
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail
• Good time management skills and a self-starter
• Able to work well within a team environment
