Job summary

SNK GAMES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a talented Engineer to join our game development studio. You will explore new gameplay experiences, leverage the latest technologies, and push the boundaries of gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.

You will work on cutting-edge research, machine learning, procedural content generation, physics simulation, rendering, and interactive experiences, collaborating with design and art teams to deliver polished games.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Extensive programming experience in C++ and C#.
• Proven track record of developing and shipping games or interactive applications using Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics.
• Excellent problem-solving, creativity and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving project requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement gameplay features, controls, and interactive elements using Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with game design and artists to develop interactive experiences and AI-infused behaviors.
• Integrate assets, animations, and visual effects to create cohesive gameplay experiences.
• Conduct R&D to enhance gameplay using latest technologies in Unreal Engine workflows.
• Explore cutting-edge rendering techniques in Unreal Engine for visuals and performance on consoles.
• Debug and resolve gameplay issues to ensure high quality and polish.
• Stay updated on industry trends and research opportunities for Unreal Engine development.
