RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Unix/Linux System Engineer in Singapore to own and optimize Unix/Linux environments. You will manage servers, implement automation, and ensure security and reliability across production systems.

The ideal candidate has strong scripting, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills, with exposure to DR planning and cross-team collaboration. This role is on-site in Bedok, Singapore.

Qualifications

3-5 years of hands-on Unix/Linux system administration.
Strong knowledge of Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu families.
Proficient in shell scripting (Bash/Korn).
Experience with monitoring, patching, and vulnerability management.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage Unix/Linux servers with SLA compliance.
Ensure high availability and performance of platforms.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues promptly.
Perform monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
Automate tasks with shell scripts; document configurations.
Collaborate with team and mentor juniors.
Support DR planning and testing.
Adopt best practices and security standards.
