Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced UNIX/Linux engineer in Singapore to install, configure, and harden servers including RHEL and Oracle Linux. You will develop automation scripts in Shell and Python, implement IaC, and support deployment, cutover, and ongoing security and performance monitoring.

Expect collaboration across teams and a focus on high availability. The role covers storage/network/security configuration, patching, vulnerability remediation, and building runbooks

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, build, and harden UNIX/Linux servers including RHEL/Oracle Linux.
• Configure storage, networking, security, and system services.
• Support project planning, design reviews, deployment, onboarding, and cutover activities.
• Develop shell scripts and Python automation for provisioning and operations.
• Implement configuration management, IaC, and standardized build procedures.
• Perform OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and security checks.
• Support high availability, clustering, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare technical design/build SOPs, DR documentation, and runbooks.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
