Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize policy documentation across underwriting, pricing, invoicing, and related systems, ensuring data accuracy.
- Support the Underwriting team with renewal preparation, including deal analysis and endorsement processing.
- Manage contract changes and closings, maintaining accurate records in accordance with established procedures.
- Handle basic underwriting tasks such as renewals, quotes, endorsements, and broker engagement when required.
- Maintain regular communication with brokers and customers, attending meetings as needed.
- Assist in premium handling, monitoring, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with outsourced service providers to resolve queries and operational issues.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Update and modify data in relevant tools, systems, and documents as necessary.
- Participate in and lead small-scale projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to underwriting.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for delivering high-quality support.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to communicate recommendations effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established processes accurately and efficiently.
- Team player with high professionalism and integrity.
- Results-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Lotus Notes, Visio, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Nitro PDF, MS Project, and Business Objects is a plus.
