Job summary

Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in Singapore is seeking a Research Assistant to support the Hepatitis Research Unit with ultrasound imaging and ARFI assessments for a CHB functional cure study.

The role involves performing abdominal ultrasound, coordinating image transfer with overseas radiologists, and ensuring accurate results reporting while maintaining patient confidentiality. A BS in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging with at least 3 years of ultrasonography experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging.
• At least 3 years experience in ultrasonography.

• Willing to train in transient elastography.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal ultrasound and ARFI.
• Sending images to overseas partner for the Radiologist’s review.
• Communicating with the coordinator the official results.
• Confirm patient identity before the procedure, while maintaining patient anonymity as per study protocol.
• Responsible for general housekeeping of the procedure room.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Good communication with PI and research coordinators.
