NTU's School of EEE invites applications for a Research Fellow in the Quantum Magnonics and Spintronics Lab to study collective quantum excitations in two-dimensional materials and heterostructures, using nanoscale device engineering and ultrafast optical spectroscopy.

You will design and fabricate nanoscale devices, develop measurement protocols for ultrafast spectroscopy, perform low-temperature and field‑dependent studies, analyze data, publish findings, and collaborate with students and

Qualifications

PhD in physics or a related discipline.
Strong background in experimental condensed matter physics or related fields.
Hands-on experience with instrumentation, measurement development, and data analysis.
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or equivalent tools.
Experience in ultrafast spectroscopy, nanofabrication, 2D materials, or low-temperature measurements is advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.

Responsabilités

Design and fabricate nanoscale heterostructure devices to engineer functional interfacial couplings.
Develop experimental setups and measurement protocols for ultrafast optical, Raman, and terahertz spectroscopy.
Investigate excitations such as magnons and phonons and their control.
Perform low-temperature, magnetic-field-dependent, and time-resolved measurements.
Analyze data, publish findings, and collaborate with students and researchers.
