CHEIL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a UI & Visual Design Intern to support a global client’s digital programme across Southeast Asia and Oceania.

You’ll work with designers, account managers, copywriters and developers to design websites, email campaigns and digital assets. This hands-on role focuses on UI and visual design, including website mockups, responsive layouts, EDMs, campaign visuals and asset production.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed diploma/degree in UI/UX, interaction design, or graphic design.
• Proficiency in Figma with auto layout and components.
• Strong typography, color, composition and visual hierarchy.
• Understanding of responsive design for desktop and mobile.
• Portfolio showing UI/UX or digital design work.
• Great attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Clear communicator and open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop visual directions for campaigns within the client’s brand guidelines.
• Design web page mockups and UI layouts from wireframes to high-fidelity.
• Design responsive EDMs for desktop and mobile.
• Create web banners, digital ads and campaign visuals.
• Prepare files and specs for developer handoff.
• Collaborate with internal teams and iterate on feedback.

We are inviting candidates for the position of:

UI & Visual Design Intern

You’ll join a regional account team supporting a global client’s digital programme across Southeast Asia and Oceania. Working alongside designers, account managers, copywriters and developers, you’ll support the design of websites, email campaigns and digital creative assets.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on UI and visual design, including website mockups, responsive layouts, EDMs, campaign visuals and digital asset production. It’s ideal for someone with a strong visual eye, good design fundamentals and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop visual directions for new campaigns, initiatives and pitches within the client’s brand guidelines
• Design web page mockups and UI layouts across a range of page types, including articles, product pages, landing pages and campaign/event pages, taking them from wireframe to high-fidelity
• Design responsive EDMs (email newsletters and campaign emails) for desktop and mobile
• Create web banners, digital ads and campaign key visuals
• Design badges, icons and other visual assets
• Adapt and resize assets across formats, platforms and markets while keeping them consistent
• Work within existing client Figma files and brand guidelines, using and contributing to shared components
• Prepare clean, organised files and specs for developer handoff
• Take feedback from internal teams and clients, and turn around revisions quickly and accurately

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or completed a diploma or degree in UI/UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field
• Working proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, components and organised file structure
• Strong grasp of typography, colour, composition, layout and visual hierarchy
• Understanding of responsive design for desktop and mobile
• Portfolio showing campaign, UI and/or digital design work (school, personal or freelance projects welcome)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Clear communicator, comfortable explaining design choices and taking feedback

Good to have:

• Experience designing EDMs or digital banners
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools
