KPMG is seeking a restructuring and insolvency specialist to join their team in Singapore. The role involves analyzing financial performance, assisting clients with cash flow projections, and managing corporate insolvency engagements. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of relevant experience and a degree in accountancy or finance, along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

As a restructuring and insolvency specialist, you will be part of a team who are dedicated to their craft in bringing practical solutions to our clients and their stakeholders, with hands-on involvement in the implementation of restructuring and insolvency plans.
Responsibilities
Performing analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the client to determine the viability of the business and identifying immediate remedies to resuscitate the business;
Assisting the client in the preparation of cash flow projection and ascertain the validity of the assumptions adopted and liquidity requirements of the client;
Liaising with various stakeholders of the client in administration of various forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements (such as judicial management, liquidation and receivers and managers) including dealing with creditors’ queries, recovering and realizing assets and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the administrators;
Supporting the business development initiatives, including the preparation of proposals and identification of opportunities.
Working closely with Partners and Managers on client management and business development activities.
Requirements
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in corporate/individual insolvency and/or restructuring exercise
Possess a Degree in accountancy, or Finance or Business or professional qualification in accounting
Proficient with the Microsoft office applications
Be familiar with the applicable Singapore law on corporate restructuring and insolvency
Be able to work in teams with good interpersonal skills
Possess a good understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals
Be resourceful, versatile, analytical and possess good project management skills
