Job summary

CST Container Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to operate a 14-ft refrigerated truck across Singapore. You will follow routes, load and unload at warehouses or customer sites, and monitor temperatures to keep goods in the proper state during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• At least 3 years of driving experience; seaport or cold port clearance is an advantage.
• Physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of heavy items.
• Punctual, responsible, detail-oriented; able to follow planner instructions and work early hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 14-ft refrigerated/frozen truck on delivery routes across Singapore.
• Load and unload goods at warehouses and customers; many locations per day; manage weight up to ~50 kg per item.
• Monitor refrigeration unit to maintain proper temperature during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Maintain driving logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo records; communicate with dispatch and handle delivery issues.
• Strictly follow delivery schedules and route plans; report changes to the planner promptly.
• Work 6 days a week from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 14-ft refrigerated/frozen truck and follow assigned routes for deliveries across Singapore. Must be familiar with routes or use GPS navigation to ensure timely delivery.
• Cargo Handling & Temperature Control: Load and unload goods at warehouses and customer locations up 15 to 18 locations per day. Most items weigh up to 50 kg . No Truck attendance to follow. Delivery require to be done by own. Require monitoring the refrigeration unit to ensure chilled or frozen goods maintain proper temperature in transit.
• Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and refrigeration equipment. Keep the vehicle clean.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintain driving logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo records. Communicate with the dispatch center and provide basic customer service, handling delivery-related issues.
• Follow Instructions from Planner: Must strictly follow delivery schedules, route plans, and instructions given by the planner. Any changes or issues must be reported promptly.
• Working Hours: Early working hours from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 6 days a week.

Requirements

• License: Must hold a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• Experience: Require at least 3 years of driving experience and seaport or cold port clearance; prior driver experience is an advantage.
• Physical Fitness: Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting (often involving heavy items).
• Attitude & Qualities: Punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented. Must be able to follow instructions from the planner and work early hours.
