Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our growing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 4 driving license, a strong safety record, and a commitment to delivering goods efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

Safe Driving:

  • Adhere to all Singapore traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean driving record with no accidents or near-misses.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Report any mechanical issues or potential safety hazards promptly.

Delivery Operations:

  • Transport goods to designated locations throughout Singapore according to schedules and delivery instructions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
  • Properly load and unload cargo, securing it to prevent damage or loss during transit.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
  • Complete and submit necessary delivery documentation accurately and on time.

Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck cabin and cargo area.
  • Report any required maintenance or repairs to the supervisor.

Customer Service:

  • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
  • Resolve any delivery issues or customer concerns promptly and effectively.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, attendance, and time management.
  • Stay informed about any changes to traffic laws or regulations.
  • Participate in mandatory training programs, as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Valid Class 4 driving license in Singapore.
  • Minimum 2 or more years of experience driving Class 4 trucks in Singapore.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Preferred:

Experience with specific types of cargo (e.g., construction materials, food products, dry goods).

Knowledge of Singapore roads and routes.

Forklift operator certification (added advantage).
