Treaty Reinsurance Broker ($8K + AWS) (ID: 671607)

You will assist in the placement and servicing of existing treaty reinsurance accounts and new treaty business production, including Structured Solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Service existing treaty accounts and provide a high level of reinsurance service to clients.
2. Identify and review growing needs of treaty clients and recommend optimal treaty programs/products.
3. Identify new target treaty clients and reinsurance markets, and develop strategies to acquire new clients.
4. Demonstrate competence in widely used treaty wordings, terms, and conditions, with an emphasis on Property Treaty Reinsurance.
5. Maintain documentation and broking records.
6. Work with the Technical Processing and Broking Support departments to ensure proper documentation and records are maintained in compliance with regulatory and market requirements.
7. Ensure Contract Certainty in accordance with relevant regulatory compliance such as MAS.

Requirements:

1. A general degree in any discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in treaty reinsurance.
2. Preferably hold insurance-related qualifications such as MAS CGI, Chartered Insurance Practitioner, ACII, or other professional (re)insurance qualifications.
