Job summary

SINGAPORE REINSURANCE CORPORATION LIMITED is seeking a motivated Treaty Claims Technician to support the claims team in managing treaty claims. This entry-level role offers learning on treaty structures, claims processes, and reinsurance operations from the ground up.

The successful candidate will assist in reviewing and recording claims data against treaty contracts and ensure accurate and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or degree in any discipline; fresh graduates welcome.
• 0–2 years of experience in (re)insurance, finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Basic understanding of reinsurance or insurance principles preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with claims or reinsurance systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing loss bordereaux and claims submissions from cedents.
• Enter claim data into internal systems and ensure completeness of documentation.
