Job description

Our company provides comprehensive treasury services to a group of logistics companies. Key activities include managing cash and liquidity through cash pooling, arranging ship financing, maintaining Singapore’s Finance & Treasury Centre (FTC) incentive status, and offering shared service support in areas such as accounting, tax filing, and payroll.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the full lifecycle of project and corporate vessel financing, including drafting Requests for Financing (RfPs), negotiating term sheets, compiling due diligence materials for lenders, reviewing legal agreements (e.g., shipbuilding, charter, and loan documents), and managing conditions precedent and subsequent.
  • Prepare internal presentations and reports to facilitate decision-making and secure approvals from senior management and the Board.
  • Assist in implementing hedging strategies to manage interest rate and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Monitor and track financial covenants for affiliate companies across various secured credit facilities.
  • Contribute to due diligence processes and assist in evaluating new investment opportunities.
  • Stay informed on developments in ship financing and broader trends in the shipping industry.
  • Support M&A and investment initiatives by applying valuation methods (e.g., discounted cash flow, revenue multiples, earnings multipliers) to assess target companies and determine appropriate purchase prices.
  • Provide ad hoc support on other treasury-related activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Ship financing or other forms of asset-backed finance
  • Corporate banking, loan portfolio management, loan agency, or documentation functions within a financial institution
  • Corporate finance or tax advisory within an audit or accounting firm
  • Treasury or corporate finance roles in industries such as shipping, aviation, real estate, logistics, or energy/commodities
  • Financial due diligence or valuation advisory in M&A-related roles
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review legal agreements is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
