Job summary

Bitdeer, a global leader in Bitcoin mining and AI cloud, seeks a Treasury Manager in Singapore to oversee core back-office treasury functions, payments, and bank reconciliations. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, and external institutions to maintain controls and drive improvements.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in corporate treasury, strong knowledge of cross-border payments, and hands-on TMS experience.

• Familiar with cross-border payment rules, currency regulations, and international payment types.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and governance.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Settlement: Execute, confirm, and settle treasury deals — including FX, money markets, US Treasuries, and derivatives — accurately and on time.
• Payment Administration: Process high-volume domestic and international wire transfers with strict accuracy and compliance.
• Bank Account Administration: Manage the lifecycle of bank accounts, opening/closure and migration; track fees; AML/KYC compliance; user access.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Monitor daily cash positions; reconcile bank balances; deliver month-end/quarter-end reporting.
• Internal Controls & Audit: Maintain treasury SOP; ensure segregation of duties; support audits and risk reviews.
• System Optimization: Contribute to implementing and enhancing the Treasury Management System (TMS).
• Bank Instruments: Advise on SBLC, BG, LOC requests and coordinate with Treasury Front Office and banks.
• Other: Support ad hoc treasury projects and initiatives.

Job Summary

The Treasury Manager is responsible for the core back-office functions of treasury: payment processing, treasury systems administration, and bank account management. This role safeguards the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of payment flows and bank reconciliations, upholds strong operational controls, and ensures accurate, on-time month-end reporting and submission. It also provides critical backup coverage across key treasury activities. The role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, business units, and external financial institutions to drive operational excellence while maintaining strong governance and compliance. The Treasury Manager also supports the Head of Back Office on process improvement, system enhancements, and treasury controls initiatives.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Transaction Settlement: Execute, confirm, and settle treasury deals — including FX, money markets, US Treasuries, and derivatives — accurately and on time.
• Payment Administration: Process high-volume domestic and international wire transfers with strict accuracy and full compliance with authorization matrices.
• Bank Account Administration: Manage the lifecycle of bank accounts, including opening, closure, and migration; track banking fees; maintain compliance with banks' AML/KYC requirements; and administer user access and account documentation.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Monitor daily cash positions and bank balance reconciliations; investigate and resolve payment or deposit discrepancies and failed transactions promptly; deliver accurate month-end and quarter-end treasury reporting on schedule.
• Internal Controls & Audit: Maintain and update the treasury SOP manual; ensure proper segregation of duties in line with policy; support internal/external audit and risk management reviews.
• System Optimization: Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of the Treasury Management System (TMS) and support treasury automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Bank Instruments: Advise business units on requests for bank instruments (SBLC, BG, LOC) and coordinate documentation requirements with Treasury Front Office and banking partners.
• Other: Support ad hoc treasury projects and initiatives as assigned.

How You Will Stand Out

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in corporate treasury operations/back-office, ideally within a high-growth startup or multinational environment
• Familiar with cross-border payment rules, currency regulations, and international payment types
• Hands-on experience with banking platforms and/or Treasury Management Systems (TMS) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong sense of accountability given the sensitivity of payment authorization
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving execution independently
• Analytical mindset with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
