Job summary

Rakuten Asia PTE. LTD. is seeking a strategic finance professional to oversee treasury operations, FX risk management, and forecasting. The role partners with senior leadership to ensure financial stability and global growth.

Responsibilities span cash management, budgeting, and FX hedging, requiring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and experience with ERP and treasury systems. This position is Singapore-based.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Professional qualifications (CFA/ACCA/CTP) are a strong plus.
• 5-7 years of experience in corporate treasury or finance.
• Hands-on FX risk management experience or international payments.
• Strong Excel and ERP/TMS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily/weekly cash operations and FX exposure timing.
• Review cash flow and bank balance reports.
• Manage USD receivable / JPY payable positions and hedges.
• Prepare P&L forecasts and budgeting commentary.
• Lead FX hedge program and monitor hedge effectiveness.
