Koch Minerals & Trading in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to support treasury operations, financial accounting and statutory compliance across Singapore and China. You will own key accounting activities, ensure timely financial reporting and strengthen internal controls in a regional setting.

Qualificações

• Degree in accounting with at least five years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese for China communications.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse, multicultural audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time-management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of daily treasury operations, ensuring effective cash positioning and the timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Lead full-cycle accounting for the China entities, covering accounts payable and payment activities, as well as the reconciliation of local GAAP reporting with internal accounting records.
• Drive a high-quality month-end close by preparing accurate and timely local GAAP adjustments.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records by completing thorough and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own GST filings and statutory submissions for the Singapore entities, ensuring accuracy, timely completion and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Champion smarter ways of working by streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency and bringing automation opportunities to life.
• Safeguard strong governance by ensuring adherence to company policies, accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
