Key Responsibilities:

• Cash and Liquidity Management
• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and regions.
• Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
• Optimize the working capital cycle by streamlining processes and utilizing digital tools.
• Banking and Funding
• Negotiate and manage relationships with local and international banks.
• Evaluate and secure cost-effective funding solutions, including trade finance and borrowing base facilities.
• Prepare and present detailed analyses of banking transactions and performance to management and banking partners.

Risk Management:

• Identify, measure, and manage financial risks, including FX, interest rate, and commodity price exposures.
• Implement and monitor hedging strategies for exchange-traded and non-exchange-traded commodities.
• Support compliance with internal risk policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Market Analysis
• Track and analyze global commodity markets, macroeconomic trends, and geopolitical developments affecting agri-commodities.
• Provide actionable market intelligence to trading and procurement teams.
• Prepare regular reports on market movements, price trends, and risk factors.
• Process Improvement and Technology Adoption
• Drive digitization of treasury and trade processes, including integration with ERP, TMS, and DLT/blockchain platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement new systems for real-time cash flow tracking and data enrichment.
• Identify and deploy innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Internal Collaboration
• Act as an internal financial advisor to business units, providing insights on funding, risk, and market conditions.
• Support cross-functional teams in structuring deals, managing contracts, and optimizing supply chain finance.
