Role Summary

This is an all-rounder opportunity for the right talent, with a focus on analytics and as back-up for treasury operations, allowing for processes to stay robust. The right person should have about 2 to 5 years of experience working in a corporate treasury function, monitoring treasury portfolios, executing hedging activities, and ensuring operational readiness.

Responsibilities

1. Monitoring and reporting of liquidity levels for APAC
2. Monitoring and reporting of FX exposures for APAC
3. Executing FX hedging activities for APAC
4. Periodic review of APAC liquidity risk and perform back-testing against Risk metrics
5. Conduct yield assessment for APAC
6. Investment optimization for trapped surplus funds in APAC
7. Continual assessment of cash management processes & structures in APAC
8. Support set-up and management of intercompany facilities in APAC, including periodic reviews and renewal
9. Support policy development for APAC FX risk management
10. Support treasury analysis on new business initiatives and relevant topics
11. Partner business verticals and stakeholders on treasury related issues
12. Support Group treasury initiatives to improve overall liquidity risk framework and other projects
13. Support regulatory submissions
14. Document procedures and assist in ensuring governance for APAC treasury activities
15. Coverage for APAC treasury ops and assist in operational matters where required
16. The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time

Competencies, Skills, Experience

1. Stakeholder management (fronting APAC Treasury as a Business Partner)
2. Cash management and liquidity optimization
3. Experience or knowledge in FX hedging
4. Simplifying and presenting complex data sets for management reporting
5. Developing framework and policies
6. Developing analytical tools for providing insights
7. Managing intragroup agreements and facilities
8. Familiarity with Treasury Operations and with “client money rules” is an added bonus
9. Pro-active and suggest new initiatives, with the instinct to develop and improve controls and processes
10. Ability to work to deadlines with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
11. Ability to work in pressurized situations and prioritize impactful issues
12. Experience in navigating changes
13. A good understanding of accounting principles
14. Min 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
15. At least a relevant Finance tertiary degree
