Job description

Our client is one of the leader in the Healthcare devices industry, they are seeking for a transportation specialist to join the team to manage the logistic, shipment and order to delivery.

Contract: 10 Months

Salary up to $5500

Location: Ang Mo Kio

1. Primary Point of Contact for Escalations

   • You act as the first responder when there are transport-related problems or delays.

   • You help resolve issues and provide advice or solutions quickly to avoid business disruption.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

   • You work with teams like supply chain, logistics, finance, and sales to make sure transport and trade performance targets (KPIs) are met.

3. Shipment Tracking & Risk Reporting

   • You monitor the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

   • You alert teams if there are potential delays or risks, and help mitigate those.

4. Transport & Customs Issue Resolution

   • You troubleshoot logistics or customs clearance issues by working with internal teams and external partners like freight forwarders or customs agents.

5. Document Handling

   • You manage and organize shipping documents (like delivery notes, invoices, or customs forms), ensuring they’re properly filed and compliant.

6. Data Compilation & Dashboard Support

   • You gather data on transportation performance (e.g., delivery times, costs, delays) to support reporting and dashboard creation, possibly using Excel or Power BI.

7. Freight Invoice Management

   • You review and audit freight invoices, check for accuracy, and help process payments.

8. SAP/S4 HANA System Master Data Support

   • You help maintain master data (e.g., carrier codes, shipping routes) in SAP or S4 Hana systems, particularly in TM (Transportation Management) and GTS (Global Trade System) modules if you have experience with them.
