Role Summary
Manage all transportation activities and related systems information in the full supply chain network. Responsibilities include supply chain services; international and domestic transportation arrangement and optimization; 3rd party vendor management; ensure the above Ontime delivery/LT/Quality. Develop and implement logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer need within budget constraints. Work with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to increase network and procedures. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Your Responsibilities:
- Resolve transportation issues in collaboration with teams with the objective of providing better service and experience to customers.
- Lead and ensure the team for operation schedule execution on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for on-time delivery causal analysis and improvement.
- Review the LT Setup and the carrier commitment to ensure the correct system setup.
- Guide the transportation quality to reduce damage/wrong shipments and lead the claim process.
- Oversee operations from transportation Service Providers and develop standard MBR/QBR to achieve long-term relationships and continuous improvement plans.
- Lead the team to implement the RFP and setup all SOPs for all forwarders.
- Partner with different functional teams to improve productivity and process efficiency in operations.
- Provision Freight Charges and validate monthly freight bills.
- Guide transportation sustainability.
- Be an escalation point for daily operational issues and lead resolution.
- Identify operational inefficiencies with existing carrier solutions and recommend improvements delivering cost savings or service improvements.
- Lead the implementation of Global projects together with the global COE Team.
- Develop a high-performing team to achieve performance with high quality.
- Improve processes and collaborate with regional partners to deliver higher service levels.
- Review and develop SOP; implement improved processes.
- Manage productivity projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage a large team of RA & transportation partners in delivering consistent results.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA.
- Understanding of the supply chain environment of SEA/INDIA Regions.
- Knowledge of the nature of Dangerous goods and oversized shipments.
- At least 10 years of experience in Logistics, especially in warehousing and transportation.
- Familiarity with different international transportation models and the E2E Process.
- Capability to manage 3rd party forwarders to achieve lower costs and better performance.

- Willingness to work with the complexity and challenges of the supply chain and achieve solutions.
- Experience with report dashboards (e.g., SAP, WMS).
- Experience working with SAP – CRM, ERP, ECC & WMS (Optional).
