Job summary

Caterpillar Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Transportation Operations professional for the Product Support and Logistics Division in Singapore. The role involves acting as a secondary lead for Transportation Operations, managing AP and invoicing processes, and driving lean improvements.

You will collaborate with service providers and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and KPI-led performance improvements within a one-year renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain and logistics operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient with Power BI, Copilot, SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the secondary lead for Transportation Operations and provide operational coverage and support as required.
• Manage shipment exceptions for Asia-Pacific airfreight operations, collaborating with internal teams and service providers to drive timely resolution.
• Audit service provider invoices for billing accuracy and SOX compliance across air, ocean, and trucking operations.
• Partner with service providers to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies within KPI timelines.
• Maintain the invoice discrepancy log and monitor items through closure.
• Track and manage transportation rate repository and keep it current and documented.
